“We had very positive results in our potato crop this year by using Miravis® Duo. We also saw a nearly two-week delay in when we’d usually observe early blight and brown spot symptoms. The 2021 season was also favourable for white mould, but we didn’t see any and attribute this to our Miravis® Duo application.”

Watch videoIn field trials, Miravis® Duo delivered consistent performance against early blight.
Source: Miravis® Duo was tested in internal and external replicated trials conducted in MB, ON and NB from 2014 to 2017. Applications were made on either a seven- or 14-day interval. Aprovia® Top was applied at three locations. N = 5. “We had major drought issues this summer that impacted negatively the maturity phase of the plants and the yields. We noticed that the plants treated with Miravis® Duo were a little taller and also had greener top leaves… The yield differences with Miravis® Duo treatment were 10 to 15 barrels more per acre than the side of the field that was treated with Luna Tranquility®. I am very happy with the results and I will definitely be using Miravis® Duo again next year!”

Miravis® Duo provides more potent, longer lasting protection from early blight, brown spot and Botrytis than other fungicides in the market.
Source: Internal replicated trial conducted in Ontario in 2016. Applications were made on a 21-day interval for demonstration purposes. Miravis® Duo should be applied on a seven- to 14-day interval depending on disease pressure. Competitive standard treatment is not labeled for protection against Botrytis. “At harvest we noticed on some yield digs that we did with our rep that there were more potatoes in the No. 1 size category vs. smalls, although tuber numbers were the same from side to side. At harvest we ran both of our windrowers down the split to get a good look and it was quite noticeable that there were more No. 1s on the [Miravis® Duo] side than the other… The field was harvested 32 days after vine kill. We had done two applications of diquat and even at that point while standing on the harvester, you could see the split on the field in the dead vines.”
