Chicago Close: Wheat Falls for Second Straight Day 


After earlier strength, wheat futures fell for the second session in a row on Friday. Corn was also lower, but soybeans managed modest gains. 

December Chicago wheat fell 4 ½ cents to $5.44 ¼, December Kansas City was down 1 ¼ cents at $5.54 ¼, and December Minneapolis slipped 2 cents to $5.86. 

January beans were up 5 ¾ cents to $9.83 ½, and March gained 7 cents to $9.92 ¼. 

December corn inched 1 ¼ cents higher to $4.25 ½, and March eased a penny to $4.35 ¼.
