ICE Close: Canola Down for Third Day

Canola futures closed lower for the third straight day on Thursday, ending in the red following earlier gains.

Chicago soybean oil was higher on the day, although both meal and soybeans closed with losses. Harvest pressure also weighed, with most of the 2024 Prairie crop now in the bin. Today’s Saskatchewan crop report pegged the overall harvest in the province at 97% complete, with canola 94% harvested.

November lost $3.20 to $611.90, and January was down $1.10 at $625.
