The day's trading was influenced by ongoing concerns over U.S. trade policies and their potential impact on agricultural exports. Additionally, market participants are closely monitoring weather conditions in key growing regions, which could affect planting progress and crop development.

  • Corn: May futures closed at $4.81¾ per bushel, down ½ cent. December 2025 futures declined 1½ cents to $4.64½ per bushel.

  • Soybeans: May futures settled at $10.29½ per bushel, down 7 cents. November 2025 futures decreased 6¾ cents to $10.25¾ per bushel.

  • Wheat: May Chicago wheat futures dropped 10¼ cents to $5.38½ per bushel. July futures fell 10 cents to $5.52¼ per bushel.

Looking ahead, volatility is likely to persist as global supply-demand dynamics evolve and traders await further clarity on geopolitical developments, crop outlooks, and macroeconomic signals.
